Sade Bully is a native of Dominica, currently based in New York. She started her dance training in the island of Jamaica where she danced with The Company Dance Theater before moving to New York City to pursue a career in dance. There, she studied at The Ailey School and performed with the world-renown Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater before joining Garth Fagan Dance where she was a principal dancer and soloist with the company.
She has toured nationally throughout the United States with critical recognition and acclaim for her work with the company. She is highly trained in Fagan technique, which is performed by the company, and is also trained in Horton, Graham, Ballet and Afro-Caribbean Modern techniques. She has taught all techniques and age groups throughout her entire dance career, and is happy to be coming back to the Caribbean this summer after spending the first half of the year in Italy training and performing with Vivo Ballet, and teaching and performing with her dance partner Momo Sanno both in Italy and Romania.
Momo Sanno is a Romanian-born, professional dancer and choreographer. He was classically trained in Bucharest, Romania and Stuttgart, Germany and started his professional career dancing in the worldwide-acclaimed, Tony Award-winning musical “The Lion King” both in Hamburg, Germany and in Scheveningen, Netherlands. He later joined Garth Fagan Dance in the United States and also worked with Miami Contemporary Dance Company and FuturPointe Dance while there.
Since leaving the U.S. he has traveled around the world working with-, and creating works on companies, and is currently residing back in Romania where he has also achieved commercial success in short dance films, music videos, and was a finalist on the hit TV show “Romania’s Got Talent”. He is working on publishing his first book about his travels, and continues to do work in dance research, while performing, choreographing and collaborating with several European artists and organisations for joint productions, performances, workshops and touring. Momo has traveled and worked with dancers throughout the Caribbean, including Jamaica, Haiti and Dominica, but this will be his first time to Trinidad and Tobago.
