Note on political figures: The political characters have been taken by the ravages of time, as dementia and frailty sets in and crystallizes in the desperate need to escape that is felt by all. These political figures are not the huge rounded monoliths that history proclaims them to be but they are presented as a condensed dominant part of these personality that they remember.

Note on Cultural figures: The cultural personalities  are warm geriatric caregivers, that are connected to there various art forms that are remembered and practiced by the people of the Caribbean. In the character of Pottake, vendor street songs are important and at least one should be known by the actor.

All actors for these roles should be willing to dance and sing. (not necessarily perfectly)
