Title: Positive + Still Here: The Male Perspective

Synopsis: Part two in The Positive Film Series. Positive + Still Here: The Male Perspective tells the story of the male protagonist of Positive and Pregnant. A riveting docudrama that speaks to and about men. Their voices, views and experiences pertaining to women, relationships, sex, sexuality, family, life, personal choices and the will to survive.


Character Breakdown:

Marvin: 20’s Pensive, handsome and charismatic. The protagonist of Positive and Pregnant.

Jones: 25 yrs. Crude, outspoken and bombastic. He has a very low opinion of women.

Lester: 30’s, Barber

Brian: 23 yrs. Shows a degree of wisdom and discernment compared to his peers.

Frank: 30’s, Barber

Girlfriend 1: 20’s, very attractive

Girlfriend 2: 20’s, very attractive

Mum: 50’s-60’s, Marvin’s mother. She is supportive and loving.

Dad: 50’s – 60’s, Marvin’s father. he is wise and caring


Application Format: Online Submission | Live Audition

Application Deadline: Tuesday 27th November 2018 | 6PM

Preparation: Interested persons are asked to submit ONE (1) CLOSE UP and ONE (1) FULL-LENGTH photo of themselves (No hats or sunglasses. You face must be clearly visible),  along with the following info

  • Contact number
  • Email address you check often
  • Talent Resume

Live Auditions will be held on Saturday 1st December 2018, 10:30AM – 4PM at the Audio-Visual Room and Foyer at the National Library and Information Systems Authority (NALIS) | Hart and Abercromby Streets, Port of Spain [View Map]

Please note you will also be required to walk with a hard copy of your headshot and talent resume to the Live Audition. If you don’t have a talent resume? CLICK HERE to learn how to create one.

Only persons submitting via the Theatre Buzz Callboard will be screened.

Further instructions will be given at the audition.
