Description: In this 7 week film workshop, participants will be coached through the fundamentals of film production & video editing. Topics will include:
- Creative Design for Film
- Core Fundamentals: Exposure Triangle, Composition & Color Temperature
- Introduction to Video Editing
- Introduction to Sound for Film & Video
- Plus more bonuses
Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
Open to ALL Caribbean Nations.

Preparation for this Workshop. Participants must have/prepare the following:
- An idea for a film or series
- A laptop or Device with at least 8G Ram, 100G free memory & a web camera
- Sign up for a free Microsoft Teams Account
- Have a stable internet connection
- Have an understanding of computer literacy
- Have a solid understanding of the English Language
Facilitator #1: Kyron Jeffers
Kyron Jeffers holds Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich and is the Managing Director of Dream Maker Studios Ltd and creator of the Learn to Fly Film Club. In 2016 he was selected as 1 of 10 Caribbean filmmakers to participate in the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festivalās RBC Focus Filmmakerās Immersion.
His first public production āThe Blind Way Forwardā was selected for the Carifesta XIII Film Festival in Barbados, licensed for airing on Trinidad and Tobago Television and won ābest documentaryā at the Rollywood International Film Festival in 2020. Kyron has volunteered as the tutor and curriculum developer for the Queenās Royal College (Q.R.C.) film club. In 2017 & 2018 he was recognized for āSignificant Contributions to the Life of the Collegeā for his work in the club.
Kyron continues to engage in outreach productions for youth such as the short film āSkyglow.ā
Facilitator #2: Shaquil Bitna
Shaquil Bitna is an award winning past student of the Queen’s Royal College Film Club facilitated by Dream Maker Studios where he joined at age 15. By age 17 he won a film scholarship from Republic Bank for his short film concept video titled “Escape Reality.” Shaquil has interned with Dream Maker Studios assisting with marketing & film productions including the upcoming film “Skyglow.” Currently, Shaquil is employed as a graphic artist. In his spare time he enjoys dancing, drawing & being awesome.
