Logline: A young teen reeling from the death of his father, must now choose between pursuing his dreams abroad or filling the void left by the departed patriarch.

Character Breakdown:

MALE ROLES:

  • PETER: Male, 30s – 40s. The father and breadwinner of the home. Bearded, built physique, any ethnicity. (Must be comfortable with boats, the sea and swimming) 
  • YOUNG MOSES: Male, 7 – 9 y/o. Soft-spoken, slim built “scrawny”. Any ethnicity. 
  • TEEN MOSES: Male, 17 – 21 y/o. Disciplined and thoughtful. slim built and tall. Any ethnicity (Must be comfortable with boats, the sea and swimming) 
  • JEREMIAH: Male 30s – 40s. Assertive, bossy and stubborn. Any ethnicity (must be comfortable with boats, the sea and swimming) 
  • KENNETH: Male, 20s -30s. Charming, a womanizer/ladies man. Built physique. Any ethnicity.
  • BOAT CAPTAIN: Male, 40s – 50s. Good natured and loves to boat and fish. Any ethnicity. (must be comfortable with boats, the sea and swimming)

FEMALE ROLES

  • RUTH: Female, 30s – 40s. A devoted mother, but can be loud mouthed and aggressive at times. Plus-sized. Any ethnicity
  • YOUNG MARA: Female, 7 – 9 y/o. Cheerful, full of life. Slim. Any ethnicity
  • TEEN MARA: Female, 17 – 21 y/o. Outgoing, curious and full of life. Slim. Any ethnicity
